Oops, I did it again!
November 9th 2010 -
I scratched LCD panel on my device. This time, I scratched screen on my new tablet – and the scratch is big, as in “Oh my God, that the f**k! 5 centimeters long!”. I don’t know how I did it, but, there it is!
As I cannot easily but screen replacement, and I did not damage touch surface, I quickly searched the web to find possible remedies, with little to no hope of finding one. I stumbled upon page on wikiHow, and, to my complete surprise… one of the methods worked! Not 100%, but the scratch is a lot less visible now.
What I did is I found clean rubber (for rubbing out pencil), cleaned the screen and started rubbing the scratch. Scratch got less and less visible, and now, when screen is shining I can barely see it. I know it may seem impossible, and it may damage your screen, so you do it on your own, but if you scratch your LCD panel, you can try it.
